Early stages of the new paintings. My approach instating is to find a way with colour, almost always light tones, fluorescents and brighter hues to establish light and for all additional layers, a kind of inner light buttress. How do I start? Well it is the Georges Braque principle, you apply a colour here and another there and immediately there is a dialogue between the two.
